What are sun burns?

What is tanning?
Tanning has its origins in the word tan, which is a particular shade of light brown. White skinned men and women looked attractive when their skin put on a deeper hue from staying out in the sun. Tanning has become a cult with the pale skinned, staying out in the sun for hours on end, exposing maximum part of their body to acquire an even wholesome tan.

Aging is a natural process which all people face but what is important is to age gracefully. Aging cannot be prevented but can be slowed to some extent by maintaining a healthy regimen. Over a period of time, our skin, which is most exposed to the harsh environment, bears the brunt of damage resulting from internal stress, harsh rays of the sun, diseases, our lifestyle/habits, inherited genes etc. As we grow older our skin begins to reflect these damages in the form of premature wrinkles, sagging skin, the proverbial crow’s feet, laugh lines etc. on our face.
